SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Charleston Southern buccaneer volleyball team dropped their Saturday match to USC Upstate in four sets.
The Bucs drop to 4-7 in the conference while the Spartans pick up their third win in the Big South.
Brooke Monssen led the team with 17 kills, hitting .343 on the day while
Rachel Feggeler added 11 of her own kills.
Macey LaPorte and
Paige Reagor aided in the offense with eight kills apiece while
Caitlyn Michalski had seven.
Naiomi Rivera came into the third set and tallied five kills which led to the third set win over the Spartans.
Emma Minnick and
Emilee Karelse split time tallying 25 and 26 assists, respectively.
Skylar Blackmon recorded a 21 dig performance in the loss.
The Bucs will return home to host Presbyterian College for a 6 p.m. match up on Friday, Nov. 8 as they will celebrate Senior Night. This will be the second time the two teams have met this season.
