TEMPE, ARIZONA – The Interscholastic Tennis Association announced the winners of the 2024 All-Academic Team awards on Monday afternoon. Charleston Southern earned recognition for the third consecutive year as well as the fourth in the past five years.
The Women's Tennis program ended the academic year with a team GPA of 3.54 this past May. This ranked as the second highest in the department and as one of just two to eclipse a 3.50.
Additionally, the Buccaneers had four student-athletes earn Scholar-Athlete distinction. This list included:
Amila Jusufbegovic,
Kassandra Di Staulo,
Marina Skegro and
Noa Boyd.
In order to be eligible for ITA All-Academic status, the team must:
- Have a team GPA of 3.2 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the current 2023-24 academic year.
- All listed student-athletes must be on the institutional eligibility form. (Coaches will be accountable for verification.)
- All student-athletes must be listed on the form if the team is eligible.
In order to be eligible for ITA Scholar-Athlete status, the individual must:
- Have a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the 2023-24 academic year.
- *** Please calculate the student-athlete's GPA for the current year only. Do not list the student-athlete's cumulative GPA over the course of the student-athlete's academic career at the institution.
- Are included on the institutional eligibility form.
