INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Charleston Southern women's tennis team will begin the 2023 NCAA Tennis Championships this Friday, May 5^th, as they will take on the top-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels in Chapel Hill, N.C. starting at 5 p.m.

The Bucs (16-7, 5-1 in conference) have qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in school history and the third-straight year. This comes after a 4-3 victory in the Big South Championship against UNC Asheville. 

Charleston Southern will face the No. 1 Tar Heels in the first round on Friday at 5 p.m. at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. This will be the second time that these two teams have faced off against one-another, as the Tar Heels took the 7-0 victory back in 2020.
