ATLANTA – Charleston Southern freshman Clarence Gallop finished 13th in the hammer throw to pace the Bucs on day of the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday.
Gallop threw 55.65 meters to earn his spot in the field of 20 competitors, while teammate Richie German achieved an 18th place showing.
In the long jump, Indoor All-American Braxton Drummond jumped 6.96 meters to finish 21st. Rozzie Johnson was the other competitor for head coach Roosevelt Lofton and the Bucs, running to a 34th place showing in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.81 seconds.
CSU is back in action Saturday for the final day of the Georgia Tech Invitational.
