CHARLESTON – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Academic teams and All-Academic athletes for the 2025 track and field season on Monday afternoon. Both Buccaneer programs earned All-Academic distinction and a trio of student-athletes were selected as All-Academic athletes.
The Buccaneers men's and women's teams each concluded the year with 3.32 GPAs. This marks the third consecutive year for the squads to receive this award.

Jaden Kingsley and Austyn Koppe each received the All-Academic distinctions. Calhoun competed in the NCAA Regionals for the shot put and was recently named the Big South Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Kinglsey competed in the 10K at the NCAA Regionals and held a GPA of 3.34 while Koppe had a 3.42 and raced in the 100m hurdles at the meet.
In order to qualify for the award, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, while student-athletes must hold a GPA of at least 3.25 and finish inside the top 96 in any championship individual event, indoors and outdoors combined.
