High School: Graduated from Georgetown High School in Texas ... Played football under Head Coach Chuck Griffin and position coach Tim Knicky … Posted 18 TFLs in each of his final three seasons of high school … Ended his senior year with 10.5 sacks, 25 QB pressures, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal to help lead the school through three rounds of state playoffs … Had 55 tackles as a junior with 30 of them being solo as well as 10 QB pressures … Collected 50 tackles as a sophomore to go with three sacks to help them qualify for the Texas playoffs … Led his district in sacks and tackles for loss as a senior as well as tackles in each of his last two years … Earned All-State First-Team Super Elite Team as a junior and a senior … Also received honors including Academic All-State,  School Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2023, All-Centex First-Team Defense in 2023 and Padilla Poll All-State First-Team in 2023 … Also was a member of the track & field program where he finished as a State semi-finalist in the shotput and discus for three years and was a five-time qualifier for the AAU Junior Olympics in the shotput and discus … Has a relative, Emmanuel Obinna Kanu playing as a linebacker at SNU … Moved to the United States from Nigeria early in his life … Also received offers from Weber State and Robert Morris out of high school.
