2024 at Kennesaw State: Appeared in four games for the Owls as a defensive back … Totaled two tackles on the season … Recorded one solo tackle against UTSA (Sept. 31) … Was able to assist on a tackle against UT Martin (Sept. 28).

High School: Played at Sparkman High School under head coach Laron White … As a senior, threw for 1,155 yards and rushed for 1,200 yards … Added 18 passing touchdowns and nine rushing touchdowns … Was selected to the first team all-region and led his team to the state playoffs … As a junior, led the Senators to an 8-3 overall record and was named to the second team all-state and first team all-region … Threw for 14 passing touchdowns and ran for eight rushing touchdowns while leading his team to the state playoffs … Was previously signed to Army ... Son of Kevin and Leslie Sawyer … Has one brother, Kendal and one sister, Khloe.
