2012: Started four games at safety and played in all 11, finishing the year with 32 tackles, four tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, a pass breakup and a pass deflection...Had three tackles and recovered a fumble in home opener against Jacksonville (9/8)...Posted a tackle for loss at Illinois (9/15) and at Liberty (11/3)...Finished the season strong with 17 combined tackles in the last two games...Had six tackles, including two for loss, in home finale win over Garnder-Webb (11/10)...Matched a career-high with 11 tackles, and forced a fumble in season finale at Coastal Carolina (11/17).
2011: Played in 11 games at safety and started ten…finished tied for sixth on the team in tackles with 47 stops (21 solo), including half a tackle for loss…led the team in interceptions with three, and also registered three pass breakups, six pass deflections, and a quarterback hit…posted a career-high 11 tackles against Norfolk State on Sept. 24…picked up six tackles versus VMI on Oct. 15 and five more against Gardner-Webb on Oct. 29…recorded first career interceptions versus Wesley on Oct. 1…intercepted a pass in CSU’s regular season home finale versus Coastal Carolina on Nov. 12…picked off a pass versus Presbyterian in season finale on Nov. 19, and also added three tackles.
2010: Played in all 11 games as a true freshman, starting twice in the first three games of the season (Wofford, Mars Hill) … finished the year with 20 tackles and 0.5 tackles-for-loss … had one fumble recovery, coming against Coastal Carolina and a pass breakup against Mars Hill and Liberty … tackle-for-loss also came against Mars Hill … had a season-high nine tackles in the season-opener against North Greenville, including five solo stops.
High School: Played three years for Coach Verlon Dorminey at Trinity Christian ... had four interceptions and 80 tackles, returning three of his interceptions back touchdowns ... also had a rushing and receiving touchdown ... named to the third team All-First Coast squad and was a member of the basketball and track programs.
