• Key part in the CSU Gold Rush offense, lining up 10 games at tight end
• Saw action at Quarterback on September 3 against Kentucky State, with 12 yards on one carry

2015: Served mainly a blocking role while playing in ten games at tight end and starting three...Caught two passes for 34 yards...Earned starts in wins over No. 1 Coastal Carolina (10/31) and Liberty (11/14), as well as versus eventual FBS national champion Alabama (11/21)...Part of CSU offense that ranked 10th nationally in time of possession and 19th in rushing yardage...Helped CSU produced eight outings of 30 points or more, and two of 40 or more...Had a key 27-yard catch in the victory over Coastal.

2014: Played in nine games and started one at tight end...Was a reliable blocker at tight end and helped CSU finish the season with the 16th most productive rushing attack in the country...Started the season opener against Point (8/28) and helped CSU churn out 336 yards of rushing...Hauled in first career catch against The Citadel (9/20), making a key 18-yard reception for a first down during the fourth quarter of CSU''s second straight win over the rival Bulldogs.

2013: Played in ten games at tight end and on special teams…Main role at tight end was as a blocker, and helped CSU compile the 17^th most rushing yards in the country.

High School: Played quarterback under Coach Dean Howell at AC Flora and earned South Carolina 3A Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2011...Ran for 600 yards and 15 touchdowns, and passed for 2,700 and 24 scores during that 2011 senior season...Named 2011 Region 5-3A Player of the Year and earend a spot on the North-South All-Star Team...Also played baseball and tennis at AC Flora.

Personal: Son of Mark and Kelly Cagle...Mark played college football at Furman from 1981-85.
