CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charleston Southern women's golfer Eugenie Varet was named the Big South Women's Golfer of the Week following her first collegiate individual title at the RiverTowne Intercollegiate.

Varet opened the tournament with a 73 before firing a 71 in the second round and closing with a steady 72 to finish atop the leaderboard at even par. She carded eight birdies and a tournament-best 38 pars during the event. Varet's consistent play across all three days secured the individual title and paced CSU to a third-place finish as a team.

This marks Varet's second Big South Golfer of the Week honor of her career. She claimed her first award back in February of 2025 following a T-15 finish at the Daniel Island Invitational.
