LAKE JOVITA, Fla. – The Charleston Southern men's golf team wrapped up play at the Lake Jovita Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, finishing 13th in the team standings with a three-round score of 877 (+13).

The tournament was hosted by Ball State and played at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club in Lake Jovita, Florida. The par 72 course played 7,121 yards.

Alex North led the Buccaneers with a tie for 29th overall. He opened the event with a strong 68 before following with rounds of 75 and 73 to finish the tournament at even par.

Theo Takman finished tied for 43rd after posting consistent rounds of 73, 74, and 73 for a three-day total of 220 (+4).

Dewi John tied for 55th, firing a 79 in the opening round before bouncing back with a 68 in round two and closing with a 75 to finish at 222 (+6).

Bailey Bjornson placed tied for 76th overall, shooting 72 in the first round, 73 in the second, and closing with an 82 for a total of 227 (+11).

Competing as an individual, Owen Newberry tied for 85th with rounds of 75, 78, and 79 to finish at 232 (+16).

Michael Rauscher rounded out the CSU lineup, tying for 87th after posting scores of 78, 83, and 75 for a three-round total of 236 (+20).

As a team, Charleston Southern recorded rounds of 291, 290, and 296 to close the tournament at 877 (+13).
