Avery Mason, the Charleston Southern women's soccer team earned a 0-0 draw with Davidson on Sunday afternoon at CSU Soccer Field.

The Wildcats controlled much of the first half, recording 12 shots, but Mason and the Buccaneer back line held firm. CSU's best look of the opening frame came in the 33rd minute when senior
Claire DeAngelis put a shot on target, forcing Davidson's Allie Moore into a save.

In the second half, the Buccaneers generated more pressure, highlighted by chances from Jenéa Knight in the 60th and 87th minutes and a late strike from
Jessica Boyle that went high. Davidson continued to push forward, but Mason came up with critical stops, including a point-blank save in the 89th minute to preserve the shutout.

The match featured physical play, with 15 combined fouls and a yellow card issued to CSU in the 67th minute. Davidson finished with 23 shots to Charleston Southern's four, but the Buccaneers capitalized on key defensive moments to secure their second draw of the season.
