CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Charleston Southern completed their second tournament of the 2024-25 season on Tuesday morning as they competed at the J.T. Poston Invitational. The event was held by Western Carolina at the Waynesville Inn and Golf Club which had a par of 70 over 6,720 yards.
They finished in 15
th in the field with a total score of +49. They had their lowest team round of the event with a score of 293 on Tuesday while battling tough weather during that final round.
The team's best finisher was Theordor Takman with his score of +10 for a tie of 46
th. He had his lowest score in the final round of 72.
Layne Lambert was next at +11 for the week while
Dewi John recorded a 71 for the final day for the lowest score by any of the Bucs during the week while his week finished at +14.
Griffin Tarver had a +19 while
Harrison Parker was at +20.
The Buccaneers will be back in action next month as they will be competing in the Carolina Cup from Sunday, October 6 through Tuesday, October 8 which will be competed in Spartanburg, S.C. and hosted by USC Upstate.
