WILMINGTON, N.C. -
Layne Lambert finished with a team-best score of 213, as the Charleston Southern men's golf team placed eighth out of 17 teams in the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate this week.
Lambert golfed a 66 in round one, which was best on the team. The Bucs shot 283 overall to start things out.
Griffin Tarver and
Theodor Takman both had a score of 70, which was second.
In round two, the Bucs shot a 294 in total. Tarver and
Ben Carroll both shot a 73, but it was
Dewi John who led the Bucs with a score of 72.
Carroll rounded things out with a score of 68, leading the Bucs to a total score of 283 in the final round. He finished with an overall score of 218, which was third on the team.
Tarver was right behind Lambert with a score of 214, Takman golfed a 219 and John rounded things out for the Bucs with a total score of 230.

The Bucs are back in action on April 3-4, as they compete in the Wofford Intercollegiate. This will be held in Spartanburg, S.C. and will be the final tournament before the Big South Championships on April 17
th.
