CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern is on the road for the second straight weekend when the Bucs compete in the Marshall Invite on Friday and Saturday in Huntington, W.Va.

CSU faces Murray State on Friday at 11 a.m. followed by a match against the host Thundering Herd at 7 p.m. The Bucs wrap up tournament play on Saturday with a 10 a.m. match against Kent State.

The Bucs bring a 4-3 record into the weekend and have several players at or near the top of the Big South statistical rankings. Reigning Big South Player of the Week Peyton Thompson is second in the conference with 3.74 kills/set, and current Libero of the Week Angelika Rusin leads the league with 4.89 digs/set.

Indigo Young is the Big South leader in hitting percentage at .374, and Emilee Karelse is second in assists/set with 8.24. Emily Struckmeyer paces the Bucs with 0.64 blocks/set.

As a team, CSU is on top of the conference in kills/set (12.75), hitting percentage (.235) and assists/set (11.75).
