CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern volleyball will wrap up its first stretch of home matches Tuesday evening when it plays host to South Carolina State. The two in-state foes will square off with first serve slated for 6 p.m. inside the CSU Fieldhouse on ESPN+.

The Buccaneers are coming off a weekend in which they play hosted to the Zaxby's presents the VolleyBucs VolleyPalooza. CSU posted a 1-2 record over the course of the weekend, starting with a victory over Appalachian State Friday night before falling to California Baptist and St. John's Saturday.

Giada Pais-Marden and Indigo Young represented the Bucs on the all-tournament team, announced Monday morning on social media. Each of the four participating schools selected two players following the conclusion of the event.

Tuesday's match will serve as the season opener for South Carolina State, which recorded a 0-24 record last fall. One of those setbacks was to Charleston Southern, which captured a 3-0 triumph Sept. 16 on its way to extending the winning streak in the series to 30-in-a-row, dating back to 1996. Overall, the Buccaneers own a commanding 59-2 advantage since the first matchup in 1979.
