The Charleston Southern volleyball team hits the road once again on as they travel to Buies Creek, NC to take on the Campbell Fighting Camels. This will be the second time that these two teams face each other, with the Fighting Camels taking the first match 3-2 at the Buc Dome back on September 24. 

The Bucs, led by David McFatrich, are 11-11 (4-4) and looking to start a winning streak after defeating the Presbyterian Blue Hose last Saturday in four sets. This will be their third straight match on the road.

The Campbell Fighting Camels are undefeated in conference play and are riding an eight-match winning streak into Thursday's matchup. They come in with an overall record of 12-8 (8-0) and are 5-1 at home this season. 

The Fighting Camels are led by Greg Goral, who is in his tenth season as Head Coach. He is the longest-tenured coach as well as the winningest coach in school history. Under his watch, the team won its Big South championship last year and are looking to defend their crown. 

For Charleston Southern, Peyton Thompson continues to shine, as she leads the Big South in both kills (327) and points (380). The graduate student from Spartanburg, SC could very well be in the running for conference honors. 

The Bucs have conference leaders in three other categories. Indigo Young leads in hit percentage at .374, Angelika Rusin is the conference leader in digs with 417 and Skylar Yates is on a quest to win Big South Freshman of the Year with 35 service aces and 249 kills on the year. 

Thursday's match will be at 6 p.m. and will air on ESPN+.
