CHARLESTON, S.C. – Elin Persson gave Charleston Southern an early lead, but Campbell went on to score three unanswered goals in a 3-1 victory over the Bucs on Wednesday at the CSU Soccer Field.
The loss drops CSU to 5-7-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the Big South. The Bucs are tied for third in the league with 10 points pending the outcome of games later tonight. The Camels remained undefeated in their last 10 contests and are 8-3-3 and 4-0-2 in conference play.
Persson took a feed from

The Camels tied it up 13 minutes later and the teams went into intermission even at 1-1. A goal by Jackie Richards in the 62nd minute proved to be the game winner, and Campbell added an insurance tally in the 73rd minute.
Campbell held a 15-6 advantage in shots with

CSU is back in action on Saturday with a road trip to Radford before returning to Charleston for its home finale against Longwood on October 22.
