CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern plays host to Idaho State in the midst of back-to-back home tournaments from the Buc Dome.

Charleston Southern fell by 3-1 scores in both matches of the VolleyBucs Invitational to Wyoming and Jacksonville State.
Rachel Feggeler had 13 kills and six aces in the finale Saturday moving into first in the Big South with 21 aces on the season – 1.31 aces/set.
Feggeler also had 15 kills in the loss to Wyoming Friday night while
Peyton Thompson had 14 and
Paige Reagor added eight.

Idaho State enters Wednesday's match having gone 1-1 at the Incarnate Word Invite last weekend falling 3-1 to the host before taking a 3-1 win over St. Thomas. The Bengals take on all three Lowcountry teams this week as they play The Citadel Tuesday night from McAlister Fieldhouse before taking part in the CofC Invitational this weekend where they play College of Charleston, Davidson and Florida A&M.
Jamie Streit paces the Bengals with 3.5 points/set while Kennedee Tracy, Sadie Bluth, Kaia Rhodes and Danielle Devlin all have 30-plus kills on the season. Defensively, Aliyah Sopoaga leads the backline with 123 digs – 3.1 per set.
Idaho State also went 1-2 in their home tournament to open the season falling to UC Irvine and UTEP while picking up a win versus Seattle.
Charleston Southern returns to action this weekend as they host Bethune-Cookman, NIU and The Citadel for the Buccaneer Invitational. Friday's first match is slated for 10 a.m. as Bethune-Cookman takes on NIU. Charleston Southern takes on Bethune-Cookman Friday at 4 p.m., NIU Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and The Citadel in a crosstown clash at 6 p.m. – all three CSU matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.
