CHARLESTON, S.C. – Fresh off a quick two-match road trip, Charleston Southern returns to the friendly confines of the Buc Dome Tuesday evening when it takes on Presbyterian at 6 p.m. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
The Bucs split the two matches of their weekend road trip, defeating UNC Asheville in four sets before falling to USC Upstate in three sets. Peyton Thompson led the Bucs with 33 kills, including 24 in the win over UNC Asheville. Thompson also had a career-high six aces in the four-set win over the Bulldogs, while Indigo Young had a season-high 12 kills in the match. As a team, CSU's .526 hitting percentage in the second set against UNC Asheville was a season-best for a single set by the Bucs.
 
Thompson leads the Bucs with 269 kills and also leads the conference with 3.59 kills per set, while Paige Reagor has 154 on a .306 hitting percentage. Ashleigh Holweger leads the Bucs with 277 digs, while Minnick has a conference-leading 634 assists to pace the Bucs in that statistic this season.

2020-21 Record: 9-11, 4-6 Big South
Presbyterian enters Tuesday's match at 9-11 overall and 4-6 in Big South play. The Blue Hose snapped a three-match losing streak in their last outing, a five-set win over UNC Asheville.
 
Erin Cooke leads the Blue Hose in both kills with 213 and assists with 323. Rylee Moorhead has 196 kills and 207 digs, while Cydni Miller has also surpassed the 100-kill mark. Kinsey Bailey and Sierra Jones are both over 100 assists in addition to Cooke's total, while Anna Hewitt has a team-high 349 digs.
 
The Bucs and Blue Hose met earlier this month in Clinton, with Presbyterian winning that match in four sets.
