CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern begins their path to a Big South Championship Friday when they take on third-seeded Campbell in the quarterfinals from the Winthrop Coliseum in Rock Hill, S.C. The match will be the second against the Camels after Campbell took the first meeting in the regular season.
The Buccaneers (14-14, 6-8) took down Radford (10-16, 6-8) in an exciting five-set match their last time out. A high stakes match, the winner clinched berth into this week's Big South Tournament.Â

CAMPBELLÂ (15-12, 9-5 Big South)
Campbell secured the No. 3 seed in this weekend's Big South Championship by defeating UNC Asheville in five sets last Friday night and sweeping USC Upstate on Saturday afternoon. Campbell finished the regular season with a 15-12 overall mark and 9-5 conference ledger, placing third in the final Big South standings. Five Camels recorded double-doubles in the win at Asheville, highlighted by freshman Lailah Green's 16 kills and 13 digs, suitable for her first double-double. In the sweep of Upstate, rookie Melody Paige had 10 kills with no errors over 14 attacks for a season-high .714 hitting percentage.Â
Historically, the Bucs lead the series against Campbell 21-20 and suffered one loss to them this season.Â
