SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Jazmin Gonzalez stopped 19 shots, the second most saves in Charleston Southern history, but a goal by Isabella Burns in the second overtime gave USC Upstate a 1-0 victory in a Big South women's soccer contest.

The Buccaneers dropped to 4-2-2 on the season while playing their fourth straight overtime game. The Spartans improved to 5-5 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

How It Happened

• Gonzalez kept the Bucs in the game by thwarting the Upstate offense, making 13 of her 19 saves after halftime
• CSU had seven shots in the first half including one by Erin Rush that struck the crossbar
• Upstate had five shots in the two overtime periods, with Gonzalez stopping two of them
• Burns finally broke the tie in the seventh minute of the second 10-minute overtime with her fourth goal of the season
