Charleston Southern shot a lack luster percentage from the floor going 16-of -55 (29.1%) . They also shot 10-of-35 from deep. Almost two thirds of the Buccaneers' total points came from beyond the arc.

The lead hovered around 12 points for most of the second half.

Deep threes were keeping the Bucs within shouting distance of the lead, but they were unable to string together enough consecutive stops on defense to mount a significant comeback.
