CHARLESTON –  Wednesday night, Charleston Southern Men's Basketball hit the floor in High Point, North Carolina's Quebin Center for a 7:00 PM match-up with the High Point University Panthers. HPU would win the contest, 80-55.

In half number one, 17 CSU turnovers would plague the Bucs and allow the Panthers to stretch their advantage to 22 entering the halftime locker room (47-25). The Bucs' Jesse Hafemeister would score 12 points in the game's first frame – nearly half of Charleston Southern's total points.

A 20-6 run by the Buccaneers in the first six minutes of half number two would bring CSU within ten points of the lead (55-45). Of those 20 points, 11 would belong to Brycen Blaine – a player who only contributed five points in the first half.

That level of dominance would not hold up as High Point's consistent efficiency and ability to force turnovers prevailed, giving CSU another conference loss, 80-55.

Notables:

• Jesse Hafemeister would finish with 21 points – his highest scoring total in a Big South game.

• Brycen Blaine finished second in scoring for the Bucs, posting 18 points and grabbing a team high 7 rebounds.
