Opening Tip
  • Taje' Kelly had a strong showing in the second half last time out against South Florida, as the big man saw his line finish at 14 points and eight boards. With his impact coming on both ends of the floor, five of Kelly's eight boards came on the offensive glass.
  • Kalib Clinton put together another solid night for Charleston Southern, as the sophomore followed up an impressive line Wednesday night against The Citadel with an 11-point output to stand as the other Buc in double figures.
  • The Bucs saw 19 attempts from the charity stripe, converting 17 of those for a season-high 89% last time out. Emorie Knox, Cheikh Faye, Tres Berry, Claudell Harris Jr. and Kelly all turned-in perfect percentages from the line, also marking the highest number of perfect lines from the charity stripe in a contest.
  • Kennesaw State is in the middle of seven-game road trip, with the visit to Charleston being the sixth contest of seven-straight away from home.
  • Chris Youngblood leads the way for the Owls in the scoring department as the guard averages just over 15 points per game.
  • Brandon Stroud has been the main Owl on the glass, averaging over seven rebounds per contest.
  • This is the second time in as many seasons that the two programs will meet with last year's meeting being the first ever between the two sides. Kennesaw State took the affair last season in Georgia.
