Kendal Cook joined the Charleston Southern Athletic Communciations staff in August of 2024 as the graduate assistant for sports information. Currently, she serves as the primary sport contact for the women's tennis, men's golf and women's golf programs.
Kendal originally joined the Buccaneers in the fall of 2023 as a transfer student-athlete for the softball program. During the spring 2024 season, she played in 23 games as an infielder, completing her final year of eligibility. Prior to arriving in Charleston, she spent her four years of undergrad at the University of Missouri as a member of the softball program.
She has gained experience in the industry through an internship with D-Bat Huntersville where she was a primary communication liaison for clients as well as organizing and running all social media platforms for her location.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Sport, emphasis in sport management, from the University of Missouri in August of 2023. Additionally, she collected a pair of minors there with them being in psychology and business. During each of her years at Missouri, she was named to an Academic Honor Roll by the SEC. In May of 2025, Kendal will graduate with her MS of Management from Charleston Southern University.
