High School: Fitzhugh comes to Charleston, S.C. by way of Hilton Head Island where sheplayed at Hilton Head Island High School. She also lined up for the Southside 1994 Gold club team.
Fitzhugh has been a key cog in the Hilton Head women’s soccer program over the past three years, receiving Team MVP honors in both her sophomore and junior seasons, while serving as captain in her senior season. She was selected to the 2012 SCSoccer.com Super XXII Team and South Carolina All-State Team, while leading the Seahawks to their second consecutive 3A State Championship in 2012. In the 2011 3A State Championship game, Fitzhugh scored the final goal in leading her team to the title. In addition, Fitzhugh has helped her teams to additional accolades as she was a member of the squad that won the 2011 Taco Bell Viking Cup Championship and was on the 2012 Airport Invitational Co-Championship team.
