High School: Hardy, a native of Fayetteville, N.C., came to Charleston Southern by way of E.E. Smith High School where she lined up at forward. Among her accolades, she was a three-time All-Mid South Conference First Team selection and a three-time District 4 All-District Team selection. She was also named to the Mid-South All-Conference Tournament Team three times. In addition, she was a two-time selection to the Intensity Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team and was named to the Fayetteville Observer All-Region Team in both her junior and senior seasons. She wrapped up her high school career on the court with 1,318 career points, 538 career rebounds, 339 assists and 333 steals and has earned the E.E. Smith MVP award twice, as well as the Best All-Around player and Freshman Athlete of the Year. In her senior season, she also led the team to the Sectional finals of the NC state playoffs.
Off the courts, she was in the Academy of Scholars/Honors at E.E. Smith. She was also a standout on the E.E. Smith volleyball and track and field teams, earning All-Region and All-Conference recognition in both.
