• 10th in the men’s 5000m race at the Big South Indoor Championships with a time of 15:43.10
• Third in the 3000m race at the CSU Spring Break Invitational with a time of 8:59.13
• 10th in the men’s 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:55.43 at the Big South Outdoor Championships

High School: Hayden Alexander comes to the program after a decorated career at Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy. A three-time conference champion and four-time regional champion, Alexander won the 3200m title at the North Carolina 1A 2016 State Track and Field Championships. He followed up with a fifth-place result at the 2016 State Cross Country Championships. He finished with a fifth place result in the 3200m in the 2017 State Track and Field Championships. Among his best marks include a 4:37.63 in the 1600m, a 9:46.85 in the 3200m, and a 16:25 time in cross country (5000m).
