Charleston Southern’s men’s and women’s track and field teams call the Bagwell-Settle facility home, with their track surrounds the football playing field.

The track's surface was overhauled before the 2016 season. CSU partnered with Precision Sports Surfaces, and the new track was completed in the fall of 2015 along with new jumps and throws areas surrounding track

The renovations also included the new Buccaneer Plaza that features a brick entryway, greenery and wrought-iron fencing, will give the Bucs an excellent venue to call home.

The facility played host to the 2010 and 2017 Big South Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

It has also been the practicing ground for all of CSU’s top performers over the years, including All-Americans Dionne Gibson, Gabby Houston, Javon Young and Braxton Drummond.
