2015 Indoor: Placed 8th in the long jump at the Bob Pollock Invitational (1/23-24) with a season-best effort of 6.78 meters...Earned 4th in the high jump at the ETSU Buccaneer Invitational (2/6-7) with a showing of 2.07 meters...Finished 2nd in the high jump at the Gamecock Indoor Invitational (2/21), jumping 1.95 meters.

Prior to CSU: Competed at North Greenville University for two seasons...Won the Conference Carolinas title in the high jump in 2012...Named all-conference following his sophomore year...Named Most Valuable Field Athlete following his final year at North Greenville. 

High School: Ran under coach Icwabene Brown at Westside High School...Finished in second place at the 4A State Championships as a senior...Was named a USATF Junior Olympic All-American...Earned a seventh place finish at the USATF Nationals...Was a scholar-athlete, was named most valuable athlete, and was a team captian...Also played football at Westside High School.

Personal: Son of Clarence and Stephanie Watkins...Majoring in physical education, and minoring in communications...Father, Clarence, played football at South Carolina State from 1975-78.
