CHARLESTON – On February 24th, the Charleston Southern Women's Tennis program hosted Coastal Carolina for a 1:00 PM, Tuesday afternoon dual. CCU would secure the 4-0 victory.
The Bucs battled hard but came up short against Coastal Carolina University, falling in three completed singles matches and two doubles contests. In singles play, the Buccaneers dropped straight-set decisions at the No. 1, 2, and 4 spots, while Carlota Farres was mounting a comeback in the second set before her match was halted. Camila Molina split sets and trailed narrowly in the third, and Carle Botha also forced a deciding set before play was suspended. In doubles, Charleston Southern fell 6-2 and 6-4 on the first two courts, while the third pairing was tied 2-2 when the match went unfinished.
