Skegro Picks Up Singles Victory as Bucs Fall at Georgia Southern

CHARLESTON – On February 28th, the Charleston Southern Women's Tennis program traveled to Georgia Southern for a 1:30 PM, Saturday afternoon dual. Georgia Southern would secure the 4-1 victory.

In singles play, Marina Skegro set the tone early with a dominant 6-3, 6-0 win on the top court. The Buccaneers also saw strong efforts from Carlota Farres Carreter and Camila Molina Barranco, who were in tight, unfinished matches when play concluded.

In doubles action, the duo of Molina and Brenda Yoris secured a 6-4 victory, highlighting a competitive showing across the board for Charleston Southern.

The Bucs demonstrated resilience throughout the lineup, competing closely in multiple matches and continuing to build momentum as conference play approaches.
