CHARLESTON – Monday afternoon, the Big South Conference announced its Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week award winner, Charleston Southern's Jacob Taylor.

Taylor would score a combined 19 total points against North Florida and Furman. 12 of those points came in Sunday's battle in Greenville at Furman. Taylor would shoot 71% (5-7) from the field, scoring 12 points in only 18 minutes. Eight of his 12 points would come at a crucial point in the contest as he helped ignite the Bucs' 19-point comeback. 

Taylor and his Buccaneer-teammates will return to the court on December 28th at Richmond for a 4:00 PM tip-off.
