CHARLESTON, S.C. – After opening the season with four straight road games, the Charleston Southern women's basketball team returns home Saturday evening to host South Carolina State in its 2025-26 home opener. Tipoff between the Buccaneers and the Bulldogs is set for 6:00 p.m. inside the Buc Dome.
 
The Bucs look to rebound following an 87-40 loss at Georgia Tech on Thursday, where junior guard Caelan Ellis led CSU with 12 points and the Buccaneers knocked down nine three-pointers. South Carolina State enters the matchup at 2-3 after falling 76-65 to Queens (N.C.) on Thursday night.
