CHARLESTON – The Big South Conference announced the recipients for the men's cross country weekly awards on Wednesday afternoon with Martin Iriondo claiming Runner of the Week. This marks his second time this season he has won the award and the third time that a Buccaneer has claimed it.
 
Last weekend, Charleston Southern traveled to the University of Virginia to take part in the Panorama Farms Challenge. As a squad, the men claimed 6^th at the race. Iriondo was the top finisher for the Bucs at the meet who was 38^th and had a time of 24:31.9.
 
The Buccaneers have their next meet scheduled for Friday, October 31 with the Big South Championships. Longwood University is serving as the hosts for this year's meet with the men seeking their sixth consecutive championship at the meet.
