CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Charleston Southern Men's Cross Country finished their 2025 fall season at the NCAA Southeast Regionals on Friday morning. The Buccaneers claimed 14
th as they raced at Panorama Farms, the home course of the University of Virginia.
Charleston Southern was able to keep a large pack of their top runners together for most of the race, paving the way for their solid finish in one of the nation's toughest regions.
Hayden Goode claimed the top spot on the day for the Buccaneers as he crossed the line in 62
nd overall with a time of 31:04.4.
Micah Gilpatric and
Martin Iriondo were 69
th and 70
th with times of 31:14.2 and 31:15.1.
Griffin Gillespie was the next finish with his time of 31:34.2 for 85
th overall with
Caleb Kenyon rounding out the team's top five with his 98
th place and time of 31:55.2.
Jeff Wedding and
Zach Mickler also raced for the squad and had times of 32:51.1 and 32:59.2.
Charleston Southern will now prepare for the indoor track season with the men's schedule slated to begin in January 2026 at the Clemson Invite with select distance runners to go to Boston in December for this year's Sharon Colyear Season Opener.
