CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern women's soccer team had their season come to an end on Tuesday, as they fell to the UNC Asheville Bulldogs by a 1-0 score at CSU Soccer Field.
In order for the Buccaneers to continue their season, Charleston Southern (5-7-3, 2-4-1 in conference) would have needed a victory or a tie to take the final spot in the Big South Tournament, while UNC Asheville (4-11-1, 2-4-1 in conference) needed a win in order to advance.
The Bulldogs scored the lone goal of the match in the 46th minute. Charleston Southern had 11 shots (5 SOG) on the afternoon, while Asheville had 10 shots (4 SOG). In goal for Charleston Southern,

The semifinals will be Thursday, Nov. 7, and the finals are Sunday, Nov. 10 in Matthews, North Carolina.
