CHARLESTON, S.C. -  In the second match of a back-to-back, the Charleston Southern women's tennis team dropped a home match to the Kennesaw State Owls on Sunday, falling to 2-5 on the season. The final score was 5-2 in favor of the Owls. 

The Owls started off with the 1-0 lead thanks to their doubles victories. Luiza Fullana/Kyanna Singh were ahead 5-3 in their match, but it was unfinished due to the other victories on court one and three. 

Kennesaw State also won the singles matches 4-2. For Charleston Southern, Noa Boyd and Kassandra Di Staulo were the only two Bucs to take home a victory. Boyd swept her way to victory, taking her sets 6-3 and 6-1. Di Staulo took set one 6-4 before falling in round two 4-6. She recovered in round three, dominating 6-1.

The Bucs will have a nine-day break before South Carolina State comes to town for a 1 p.m. matchup on Tuesday, February 28^th.
