CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern women's tennis stayed perfect at home with a statement 7-0 win over visiting South Carolina State Thursday afternoon at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center. The Bucs took the doubles point before cleaning up all six singles flights.

The match started with Charleston Southern (2-1) making quick work of the doubles segment asÂ
Zoe Cauthen and
Tiffany Pyritz cruised to a 6-2 decision and
Madalina Man and
Noa Boyd dominated with a 6-1 result.

In singles play, South Carolina State (0-1) was unable to pick up a point, with only one flight going to tiebreak. Charleston Southern was able to finish the sweep off with
Laura Marti earning the last remaining point after a (6-2, 7-6 (7-2)) finish.

The win moves the streak over the Bulldogs to 13-straight, starting in February of 1999.

The Bucs hit the road for their next affair, as Head Coach
Anca Dumitrescu's side travels to Statesboro, Georgia to take on Georgia Southern. The non-conference clash is set for a 12:00 p.m. start at the Wallis Tennis Center.
