The Charleston Southern Buccaneers head to Durham, N.C. on Thursday night for a battle with the Duke Blue Devils inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. The game will start at 7 p.m. and be streamed on ACC Network Extra.

Clarisse Garcia, the Bucs (1-0) opened the season on Monday night with an 81-46 win over the Georgia College and State Bobcats in the Buc Dome.
Duke
The Blue Devils opened the season this past Monday with a 77-57 win against North Carolina A&T. In that game, four players finished with double-figures.
Coming into the season, Duke was picked to finish seventh in the ACC this season. Kennedy Brown, a junior center, earned a spot on the Lisa Leslie Award Watch List, given to the nation's top center. She had 13 points and three rebounds in the Blue Devils' win on Monday night.
They are led by Head Coach Kara Lawson, a former WNBA star, Olympic champion and two-time All-American at Tennessee. She was hired in July of 2020 to take over the program. Last year, under Lawson's leadership, the Blue Devils went 17-13 and were in the top-25 for the first time since the 2018-2019 season. They got to as high as 15 in the polls.
Charleston Southern
In the opening-game victory for the Buccaneers on Monday night, the bench stepped up big, collecting 47 points. Catherine Alben had a monster college basketball debut, picking up a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds in 31 minutes. Fellow freshman Alba Garcia also provided double digits for the Buccaneers, scoring 15 points in 20 minutes.
The team shot 42.5% from the field, including 37.9% from the three-point line.
Sha'Mya Leigh was a perfect 5/5 from the field, leading to 12 points. She also had two steals on the defensive side.
This will be the first road trip of the season for the Buccaneers as well as the first power-five team that they will face on the season. They will face two more later in the non-conference.
