The Big South Unveils 2026-27 Women’s Basketball Conference Schedule

CHARLESTON – The Big South has released the 2026-27 women's basketball conference schedule, it was announced Wednesday morning.
The Buccaneers are set to compete in a 16-game conference slate this season, including eight games inside Buccaneer Fieldhouse.
Charleston Southern opens Big South play on January 2 when CSU hosts defending champion High Point inside the Buc Dome. The Bucs will then hit the road for a contest against UNC Asheville (Jan. 6) before returning home to face Longwood (Jan. 9). The following week, CSU is back on the road with matchups against USC Upstate (Jan. 13) and Radford (Jan. 16).
CSU returns home January 20 against Presbyterian before hosting Winthrop on January 23. The Bucs then close out the month with road contests against Gardner-Webb (Jan. 27) and Longwood (Jan. 30).
Charleston Southern opens February at home against UNC Asheville on February 3 before traveling to Winthrop (Feb. 10) and High Point (Feb. 13).
The Bucs return home for three of their next four games, hosting Gardner-Webb (Feb. 17), Radford (Feb. 20) and USC Upstate (Feb. 27), with a road contest at Presbyterian (Feb. 24) in between.
The Buccaneers will then compete in the 2027 Big South Women's Basketball Championship March 3-7 in Johnson City, Tennessee.
