Bucs Drop Road Match to Radford

Box Score RADFORD, VA. - In a back and forth match, the Buccaneer soccer team fell to Radford by a final score of 2-0. Radford's first goal came in the first half with a little help from the right post after Brianna Oliver banked it off for the game-winner. Their second came from the foot of Katie Oliver after a through ball made its way into the box through the Buccaneer back line. 

Kayla Reese led the Bucs in shots, with three on frame while Bri Robinson and Dakota Fiedler each had one. Radford tallied twelve shots, forcing Jenna Moran to make six saves. Radford entered the match in second place in conference standing and improves to 4-1-1 on the year while the Bucs fall to 1-3-1.

Charleston Southern returns to action next Sunday on the road against Presbyterian College.
