What to Watch For
Jenna Moran earned CSU's second weekly honor of the season when she was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
The Bucs' current shutout streak stands at 194:30 and is the longest streak for a CSU team since the early stages of the 2020-21 season.
CSU was either tied or ahead in shots on goal in three of the first four Big South games, including each of the Bucs' two wins in conference play.
Scouting Gardner-Webb
Gardner-Webb enters Wednesday's match at 5-8-0 overall and 2-2-0 in Big South play. The Runnin' Bulldogs had a two-match win streak snapped in their last outing, a 3-2 defeat to Longwood.
Maddie Turlington and Livi Tanzer lead the Runnin' Bulldogs with five goals each, with Turlington's three assists and 13 points leading GWU in those categories, respectively. Katelyn Kellogg has started 12 of GWU's 13 matches in goal and has a conference-leading 101 saves.
Series Breakdown
Wednesday's match will be the 17th all-time meeting between CSU and GWU, with Gardner-Webb leading the series by an 8-6-2 margin. Charleston Southern has a 4-2-1 lead in matches played in the Lowcountry.
