CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charlotte used early momentum from doubles play to springboard a 7-0 win Saturday over the Charleston Southern women's tennis team from the Buccaneer Tennis Center.
Charlotte (6-2) grabbed an early 1-0 lead taking both doubles matches on courts two and three by 6-1 scores overcoming a 6-3 win by

The visiting 49ers then took five matches in straight sets during singles play before
Liz Williams forced a three-set match on court three before falling by scores of 6-2, 4-6, 5-7.
Saturday was just the second loss against Charlotte all-time for CSU who led the matchup 3-1 entering the match.
CSU ends their weekend Sunday with Lowcountry rival South Carolina State at 2 p.m. from the Buccaneer Tennis Center.
