GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Buccaneer volleyball team closed out the Coastal Carolina Class this Saturday afternoon with a win over S.C. State. The Bucs went 1-2 on the weekend, suffering losses to Coastal Carolina and East Tennessee State University.

In the win over S.C. State the Bucs hit .276 as a team compared to the Bulldog's .014 percentage. The Bucs also hit a season high eleven aces on the afternoon to go with eleven blocks. 

Brooke Monssen, Carsyn Starr and Rachel Feggeler led the team offensively, hitting a combined .317 percent for a total of 30 kills as a trio. Defensively, Caitlyn Michalski and Paige Reagor recorded three blocks each while the team garnered 29 total digs.
