CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern heads to High Point on Saturday for its first Big South women's soccer game of the season. Kickoff at Vert Stadium is at 4 p.m.
The Buccaneers are 3-4-0 after a 2-0 loss to College of Charleston on Wednesday. The Panthers are 1-6-0 but are playing only their third home game of the year.
High Point owns a 19-7 lead in the all-time series, but CSU won the most recent matchup with a 2-0 victory last October at home. The Bucs scored twice in the opening 19 minutes, with
Kat Klingensmith tallying the game-winner just nine minutes in.

Zari Hayes and
Elise Borys each have two goals to pace the Bucs, while
Dakota Fiedler has a team-high two assists.
Jazmin Gonzalez has 27 saves and a goals against average of 1.17 in six games.Â
High Point picked up its lone win of the season with a 2-1 victory over UNCG on September 2 with Chloe Le Franc and Kyle Levesque scoring the Panthers' goals. Levesque has two of the team's four goals on the year. Talia Klimes has started all seven games and has 38 saves and a 1.76 GAA.
The Bucs return to the CSU Soccer Field on Wednesday against Presbyterian in their Big South home opener.
