CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern looks to move closer to the race for a Big South Tournament berth when the Buccaneers host USC Upstate on Wednesday at the CSU Soccer Field. Kickoff is at 3 p.m.
The Bucs (4-8-2, 1-4-2 Big South) are coming off a come-from-behind win at UNC Asheville on Saturday. CSU scored three times in a span of 14 minutes in the second half to erase a 2-1 deficit in a 4-2 victory.

Kat Klingensmith each scored as part of the CSU rally.
Kylie Doster produced CSU's first goal in the waning seconds of the first half and remains tied with Hayes for the team lead with four. Robinson had her first career goal and added her team-best fifth assist of the season on the Klingensmith tally. Robinson is tied for fourth in the conference in assists.
Jazmin Gonzalez has started 13 of 14 games in goal and ranks second in the Big South with 5.62 saves per game. She is also sixth in save percentage (.777) and goals against average (1.56). Gonzalez has 164 saves in her career and needs 11 to pass Molly Shawcross for seventh in school history.
Upstate (2-8-3, 0-6-1) has gained only a 0-0 tie with Hampton in Big South play and has non-conference wins over Mars Hill and Wofford. Abbie Ellis leads the Spartans with four goals, one more than Montanna Hill and Emma Honis, and Hill has added three assists. Logan Pace has made 88 saves and has a .793 save percentage.
CSU has a 5-3 lead in the all-time series, but Upstate has won the past two. In the Spartans' first season in the Big South last season, they took a 1-0 double overtime victory in Charleston.
