The Blue Hose Prove Too Much For The Lady Bucs

CHARLESTON, S.C.: The Lady Bucs fell to Big South opponent Presbyterian College (25-22, 22-25, 25-18, 25-18) on Oct. 28 in Charleston S.C.

The Lady Bucs were led by Amy Nokes who had eight kills, 10 digs and 10 assists for her third double-double in five games. Laura Grace Swindler led the way for the Bucs with 16 assists and also chipped in four digs. Erin LaVenice notched seven kills on 15 attacks (.333). Ashley Higginbothem recorded 18 digs plus one service ace. Sydney Tracy chipped in with seven kills and six digs while Kayla Klinger totaled four kills and one service ace. Wynter Davis led the Buccaneers defensively with seven block assists to go along with two digs. CSU totaled 35 kills on 127 total attacks (.094), 32 assists and 51 digs. With the loss, The Lady Bucs fall to 5-21 on the season, 1-9 in Big South play.

CSU will welcome the Winthrop Eagles to the Buc Dome on Oct. 29 and 6 p.m. for a Big South battle.
