JACKSONVILLE, Ala. - A late header by Sarah Catenacci brought the Lady Bucs back, but they were unable to overcome the Gamecocks of Jacksonville State, as CSU fell 2-1 Monday afternoon.

Despite being out-shot by Jacksonville, CSU held a 5-1 edge in corner kicks, which have proven dangerous throughout the season, and did so again Monday. It was a corner kick from Emma Mattsson with 1:30 to go in the game that connected with the head of Catenacci to bring CSU back within one after giving up two goals in the first half.

CSU will host Winthrop this weekend at noon, having moved the game up one hour from the original game time.
